Choudhary Power Projects Private Limited is one of the leading company in J&K State across the hydel energy spectrum. The company was established in the year 2009, to set up power plants to generate electrical power by conventional and non-conventional methods.
CPPPL having the distinction of setting up its first unit of installed capacity 2x7.5 MW power project named ‘Ranja-Ala-Dunadi Hydel Power Project’ in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir in 2012, becoming one of the first Independent Power Producers in the J&K State. The Project has annual generation capacity of 76.17 MU.
As a pioneer in setting up the small Hydel Power plant in the tough and difficult mountainous region, CPPPL has experience and developed capabilities to set up and successfully operate Hydel Power Plants in the high mountainous areas. This is demonstrated by the fact that the Company could complete the construction of its Projects well within the set time frame and has efficiently managed the operations and maintenance of the plant for over the years.
Besides Power Sector, the company operates two major Toll Plazas on the Jammu – Srinagar National Highway.
CPPPL aims to emerge as a significant private player in the power industry and other challenging projects based on technical and managerial capabilities, and thereby contributing towards nation building.
